A great artist once said, " a picture can say 1,000 words." As a young human I found a picture can convey much more then 1,000 words, but also what one does not have the courage to express or say. Growing up I felt like a stranger in my own skin. Told to act a certain way and put on a happy face, therefore no judgement would be thrown upon my closed doors and four walls that was supposed to be my so called home. As time went on the fear and main morphed me from a stranger to the outside world to a stranger in my own skin. Lost and finding my way I moved surroundings. As taking myself out of a toxic environment, I was able to find my voice again by producing music, Be who I was always meant to be by accepting myself, and finally live in no more harm or shame. I came into the arts world in hope to be a symbol for those who are struggling: Struggling in social environments, struggling at home, struggling within yourself. That struggle is does not define you. That struggle you are at war with, you are not alone. Their is hope that life can be better. So take a minute and look around, we are all strangers in one form or the other. But as you strip away titles, stigmas, expectations... we are all the same, stuck on this earth attempting to find peace and happiness together.
